三江江川侗情民宿 (Sanjiang Jiangchuan Love Homestay)

This place is not very touristy so I like it. Most of the restaurants are across the river but not too far away from this hotel. There are 2 bridges close by and they are lit . If you come by bus , as I did, this hotel is perfect as it is just down hill from the bus stop ( but uphill when you leave ). The room is big with 2 chairs facing an expansive field . You can see swallows and 2 ducks below room 403. At night you can see the drum towers in the distance. The room is made of wood which I feel like as if I am living in a cabin in the Alps.  The WiFi works good and the owner took out my garbage every day. This being in the field, insects are expected. One night I saw a flying one, not sure if it is a cockroach or what  at night so I killed it.. No big deal. If you want to get away from the hustle bustle of a too commercialized ancient town like Zhaoxing or Xijiang ancient town, this might be more quiet and you can feel more relaxed. Overall a good hotel .

位置好，去景區方便。

We loved the view from our room looking straight on to the river. It was centrally located so it was a great place from which to explore. The hotel was quiet and generally comfortable, although it was a little cold in the wintery weather. However, the thick duvets offered a cosy sleep.
