濟州島海洋香氣度假屋 (Jeju Badaaehyanggi Pension)

房間入往或退房都是自助形式，門匙放在大門櫃枱就可以了。房間很美，有露台，對著大海吃飯，看日出。有廚房可煮食，不想煮食附近亦有餐廳。對出海岸徑很美，跑步或散步都一流。

The pension house is located at a more deserted stretch along the coast. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk during both check in or check out from which we could find out more information on a recommended place for dinner or the earliest opening hour for breakfast. We found the lack of a host rather strange. We had to figure our way and ended up asking a very helpful staff at the restaurant. The room keys were simply placed at the front desk table (we returned them the same way). The soap in the washroom was very obviously used and old. The rooms are smaller than they seem in the pictures. There is a nice small balcony though. The futons were comfortable and were heated for winter so that was nice too.

We got 2 rooms for our family (side by side). The place is a little on the deserted side, with few restaurants and no convenience stores to buy snacks or food for breakfast. Restaurants and cafes nearby only open at 10am (as this is not a touristy area). During check-in and check-out, we didn’t see anyone at the reception counter so this is unlike the other 2 pension houses we stayed at where the hosts were there and made us feel welcomed. The rooms keys were left at the counter table for us to pick up. (During check out, we left it there too). Overall, place feels cold. It has a great view of the rugged coast though. But if you can, Sun and Moon Resort might be a better choice as it also has a fabulous view of the coast (we wanted to book that but there were no available rooms for our family). Recommend to go to the Mugjeon restaurant nearby. Nice food and we met a super helpful lady staff there.
