Nice and good

Big, clean room. Easy check in, parking right outside. Restaurant serves incredible food. No lift.

Imagine a hotel without a receptionist, and people put down the telephone at the number given, while you are desperately trying to get your room number and access code - just 10 minutes before closing time. I won't ever use it again, even if I have to pay more elsewhere.

The room was LARGE, more like a small apartment - you can pack 8 pax in, if you bring sleeping bags. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, so you can cook instead to going to the restaurant downstairs, or the petrol station's snack bar about 50m away. If you drive, parking is readily available. BUT - you must first get access to your room!! And this first step is not guaranteed, because you have to call a number where the lady seemed more busy with her child(ren) than in meeting customer needs. Which means, you may not get your room number, much less your access code. I made several international calls over 10 hours without success. However, I was fortunate to encounter a very large group seeking entry, and the staff who facilitated them also helped us. Otherwise, we were already making contingency plans at 8:30pm. In conclusion, if you have a group of friends who just want shelter from wind and rain, at a reasonable cost, this is a POSSIBLE choice. Just got to take the chance that you arrive at 8:55pm, and there's no receptionist or staff to help you enter your room, leaving you stranded for the night.

Das Apartment auf der schönen Halbinsel Snæfellsnes hat uns gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war mit einer kleinen eingerichteten Küche gut ausgestattet, auch eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Toaster gab es. Die Betten waren bequem, es gab Schränke, neben der Sitzgruppe noch eine Couch zum Ausziehen. Zu dritt hatten wir genügend Platz. Den Zugangscode haben wir jedoch nicht von 永安.Com erhalten. Der Vermieter hat auf unsere Anfrage per Mail nicht geantwortet. Vor Ort stand ein Telefon im Treppenhaus mit Telefonnummer, Zettel, Stift. Wir haben angerufen und direkt den Nummerncode erhalten. Das Haus wirkt wie ein ehemaliges Bürogebäude, unser Blick aus dem Fenster ging auf den Parkplatz. Die Bettwäsche war sauber, aber wirkte abgenutzt. Bitte erneuern. In der Nähe gibt es ein Restaurant, Apotheke, Lebensmittel, ein Bad. Frischen Fisch direkt vom Fischer haben wir leider nicht gesehen.

It comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Room is spacious. The so-called 24/7 assistance phone line was unanswered 8 out of 10 times! The posted check in time is 1500 but the actual check in time was 1600. The extra 1 hour wait was hellidh in howling wind and pouring rain. No service to speak of, since the phone was unanswered.
