聖艾夫斯灣酒店 (The St Ives Bay Hotel)

As I  entered the hotel.  There was a strong smell of cats urine.   Reception area and reception staff very good. Dining area very clean and tidy.   But one  older female member of the breakfast staff quite abrupt. Stayed 3 nights.  Room was not cleaned, bins nor emptied and no fresh towels supplied. Paid £25 for dinner one night.   Basic and not value for money.    Plus point.   Opposite rail station  and bus stop nearby.  Won’t be returning.

When I booked last 21st of Aug 永安, I messaged the hotel if possible to arrange the two photos of the room that I prefer. I have sent them the photos of those two room. I asked them if I can have either of the two room I’ve sent as there were loads of room with same description (Double room with a sea view) but the apperance of the room were different. 永安 was immediately contacted the property for my request. 永安 received a confirmation from the hotel that they were granting my request and sent a confirmation from my end as well. I was really excited for my room as I chose the one with a sea view. But when I got there I wasn’t expecting the room that I got. There was no sea view that I was expecting. It turned out that there were miscommunication between 永安 and the hotel. But to give overall feedback for the hotel, the staff were all polite and friendly. They were so accommodating with your concern like when I borrowed a brolly to use it as it was drizzling day when we were there. There were a needs of improvement for the amenities like their public toilet (not so tidy, they should put some air fresheners), carpet (musty smell). The ceiling and windows were dusty. While the room we stayed in was a little bit tidy and clean. However, the electric fan was dusty. The toilet was fine but hand soap bottle was empty. The bathroom area has a tight space as well. When it comes to the location of the hotel, 5/5 as it was located near to all tourist attraction and restaurants by foot which was very convenient.

Hotels ok for a weekend slash couple of days in st. Ives as it is very local to everything within walking distance. Hotel appears to have had its day, needs a lot of love attention. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Didn’t eat there but there are facilities to eat if you need to I used the bar but the wine was served an hot glass that appeared just to have come out of the dishwasher but was somehow still dirty and smeared. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot, room could do with new carpets and a repaint. The whole place could do with new carpets, a repaint and love and attention. The details are being missed.

Location is decent near to the train station and walking distance to all the shops/restaurants. Parking is difficult in St Ives during peak times and the hotel only has a small amount of spaces free at the back of the hotel or if you’re lucky you could park on the street outside. Rooms are very basic.

세인트 아이브스 너무나 아름다운 곳이고 호텔 위치는 최고의 위치임 가격이 싸다면 무조적 픽해야 하는 곳입니다 하지만 우리가 받은 룸은 청소가 다 되어 있지 않았어요 컵과 숟가락도 누가 쓰던 흔적이 있었고 심지어 커피포트에도 물이 가득차 있었어요 더렵고 창문은 열리지도 않아서 환기가 되지 않아 냄새가 났지만 그래도 좋았어요 위치가 다한 호텔입니다 다음에 또 세인트 아이브스에 온다고 해도 하루 정도면 다시 선택하고 싶습니다 다 용서된 호텔은 세계여행 중 이 호텔이 처음입니다 너무나 아름다운 곳 꼭 씨뷰로 선택하세요

The view of the room is so fantastic, I really had a good time there

Great location, hotel is in shocking condition! Room was incredibly tired and not clean. But it was cheap!

Rooms are a bit run down and carpets definitely need redoing ,but lovely service,very welcoming and hospitable.price can be good depending on what days and season but overall a lovely little place to stay. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and 4 minutes from the train station

High recommend Very welcoming environment lovly staff food and stay was amazing no complaints from our end the veiw was amazing from our balcony sea veiw room was breath taking couldn’t of ask for a better night stay definitely going to book again
