Great location, clean premises and convenient rooms for work travel. A few dinner choices nearby the hotel which were easy to find once I knew the hotel has breakfast but not dinner options. Would stay again if travelling for work.

Stayed for one night. Arrived super late for check in and the concierge was very kind and stayed late to help us. Room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was good. Something to note is that parking was in a nearby garage and is not covered by the hotel. Overall would recommend if you’re in the area!

All the staff go above and beyond polite always welcoming with a smile when I arrived my room wasn't quite ready the lady on reception made me a coffee while I waited for the room to be cleaned will recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Newport and it only about 3 minutes from train station

This hotel was a fall back for me I’m glad I chose to go here after a disappointing hotel I arrived to originally and I should have booked here first. Hotel is located centrally and close to local bars and shopping areas. The members of staff I met were all lovely and very helpful! The room was spotless. The only issues I had was there was no shampoo just shower gel and the heating in the room didn’t get to full temp but at this time of year the heating was not a huge deal! I stayed in room 201 so it was situated close to the lift but was far enough away to not be disturbed by the sound of it. Will be staying here again

Booked this place to stay for 2 family’s next week. Was making booking and app crashed and put the booking through for today. Immediately rang the hotel within 2 mins of the booking and told them the situation. The Hotel at the time still even had the rooms we wanted available on the date we tried to book for and they wouldn’t change over the booking and fobbed us off to the website, stopped answering their phone, turned off the hotel phone. We continued to try solve the issue via their online portal and kept getting faced with incorrect booking details and booking doesn’t exist. Needless to say the took the money for the room tonight and would respond/ reschedule or even attempt to try and resolve the issue or show an ounce of empathy. Complete thieves . 永安 tried to help and completely had our back and could get the hotel company to play ball. Don’t book.

Conveniently located near the station, shops, and bus stops, this hotel is well-positioned for exploring the area. While cleanliness was satisfactory, the service could use some improvement. One notable drawback was the unpleasant smell upon entering the ground floor and reception area. The room amenities were nice, but the bed is so comfortable. Breakfast service was decent, but there's room for improvement. Overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars – a solid choice with some areas for refinement.

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was immaculate! The bed was very comfy!The bathroom was very spacious, air-con. We had a complimentary breakfast which was lovely! The only thing is that the reception area had a foul smell almost like sewerage and we also noticed this in the bathroom when the toilet lid was left open.

A Premier Inn style accommodation. Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room. Clean. Well mannered and helpful staff. Easy access and secure with guest only areas. We'd definitely rebook here if we are in the area again.
