Funky decor, good facilities and obviously setup for entertaining small group of friends ( ice-making machine and wet bar!). My 91 year old mum was non-plussed by all of the ‘sensuous’ female photos. “Where is the Robert Mapplethorpe stuff?” she muses.

Nice place just WiFi connection was super bad

Amazing location to beach and quiet.

Stayed last night and a number of times in the past. I love the Blue. Great location - great rooms with a great vibe. It’s a bit quirky parking and getting to the room the first time - but then you realise what a great set up it is. The self service breakfast and chill out room is wonderful. Boulangerie and pizzas down stairs. Bars and restaurants and Harris Farm supermarkets just round the corner. Bikini bar just down the road as you walk to the best beach in the World. Please don’t go there so I’ll still be able to get a room in the future.

Great location for visiting Bondi Beach

Although this hotel is very conveniently located, just 5 minutes away from Bondi beach, I wouldn’t recommend staying there. We paid just over 1,000 Australian dollars for two nights, since it is a four star hotel; however what we got was far from the expected. During my stay I didn’t see anyone and the communication was done through WhatsApp. The check-in process was messy, they send you the information via email, the wifi was not accessible so I needed to connect on the internet of the bakery next door to be able to receive the check-in information. The room itself is spacious (We booked the King Suite room) but the room wasn’t too clean, the bed was not properly made, and the duvet was very dirty, the furniture was old and rugged. The internet in the room kept dropping, which was very inconvenient. There is no cleaning service unless you pay extra (and this information I only found out after reading reviews online). The checkout is at 10, which is too early, we had to pay extra 50 dollars to stay two more hours. Once again, when you pay 500 AUD a night, the expectations are those of a four star hotel, not what feels more like a hostel.

The room was good sized, clean and the bed comfortable. The only issue is its noisy - but they supplied ear plugs which helped. It is a busy part of Sydney and lots of night time revelers :)

This is a very efficient and practical hotel. Love it! Highly recommend. All kinds of charge head available, very thoughtful 👍
