My family and I used to travel yearly and our go to Hotel in Tacloban is always Summit Hotel. Since location wise it’s just few steps from the Robinson’s mall.

For a big hotel I think their service was very poor. For the 4 days that we were there they did not change our sheets and we had to ask for a second towel and a bath Mat. No smart TV so we could not use our streaming services and the picture resolution was low. The layout of our bathroom was not good at all. I would love to give zero but I guess you have to give at least 1. To everyone out there, find a different hotel

Reception agreed to set up a taxi for me @ 11:15. I checked out and asked about the taxi. Charged me 300, then informed me it was the hotel shuttle, not a taxi l, and I had to wait on other guest. I had two places to stop, I needed a taxi. Told them no that’s not what I requested (and they agreed to). Then they started talking to each other in their language and laughing. I don’t know what was what funny. I still didn’t get a taxi. Just their scuttle driver with no other guest. Disappointing.

Cheers to Hannah and Janine for assisting in my booking! Love the sumptuous breakfast buffet! Enjoyed the pool. Felt safe and relaxed. Very good location too. Thank You! 🤩

Nice location rooms are clean staff friendly and helpful only issue is our first room the door malfunctioned and jammed closed and would not unlock staff gave us another room was without our belongings all night until the next morning when they was able to finally get the first rooms door opened this is my second stay at this hotel things happen I would stay again
