I had a really pleasant stay at Asia Star Hotel. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable — perfect for a good night’s sleep after a long day. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. I also appreciated that breakfast was included; there was a nice variety of options, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely a great value for the price. I’d happily stay here again!

It’s a budget hotel in the centre of Tacloban. You get what you pay for. We just wanted a cheap place to stop overnight for the airport (only a 10 minute drive). Served us well for the price.

The so called "discounted" rate from 永安 was in fact higher than the walk in rate. Breakfast was not included. The walk in rate included breakfast. There are very few hotel options in Tacloban. Asia Stars is ok. Not great, not bad, It's ok for 1-2 nights not more as the rooms are very small.
