山莊湯之裏日式旅館 (Sanso Yunosato)

Japanese traditional Ryokan near Hirayu Shrine, good view from the room’s windows. Good vibes indoor and outdoor hot spring bath (onsen). Walkable distance (around 10 minutes) to Hirayu Bus Station (to go to Kamikochi, Shin-Hotaka Ropway and Onsen, Takayama and Matsumoto). Cafeterias nearby. I stayed 2 nights with serene and relaxed after 2 nights stay at Nishi-Itoya Mountain Lodge in Kamikochi (for walking and climbing to Karasawa Cirque and Dakesawa Huts), bought 2 days bus pass to Shin-Hotaka.

Very nice hotel with a natural onsen — a good one, with both indoor and outdoor baths. The rooms are traditional, with tatami floors and futons. Toilets are shared, and showers are located on the first floor, before the onsen area. The bus station is nearby. About a 10-minute walk away is Hirayu-no-Mori — a large hotel with 16 open-air natural onsen baths that welcomes day visitors for a reasonable price.

一個人住房間很大，日式傳統榻榻米。洗手間是在房間外面共用的，洗澡在1樓温泉池附近。女店主人很好，衹能用日語交流。温泉是掛流的，源泉70+度，加了冷水降温。泉質很好，淡淡硫磺味，有礦物質漂浮物，日語叫做湯の花。洗完皮膚非常滑嫩。

日式老温泉民宿，二個老太太打理着，很客氣，但我們不會日語，無法多聊，主要是房間內沒有洗手間，必須去該樓層的盡頭（當然很近），洗澡必須去一樓的温泉（一直開着，房間都在二三樓），窗戶的遮光是日式的紙，一早就會透光進來，想睡睡懶覺那是妄想，平湯比較鄉下，現在淡季吃飯都成問題，便利店也沒有（衹有一傢俬人小店晚八點關門了），一泊二食的酒店還沒事，但這家看起來不像能提供晚飯，也許旺季會不同吧

The location is good, close to the bus station to go Kamikochi from Takayama side. And they have hot springs inside the accommodation, only need to pay a little extra fee, and you could enjoy traditional Japanese style shower with hot springs.
