婆羅洲海灘紅樹林度假村 (Borneo Beach & Mangrove Resort)

Seems like a new place, ongoing landscaping, constructions and renovations. Not very happy with delayed check in time. ( 3pm ), and at 4pm our room was not even ready! Housekeeping Needs to improve on speed to get rooms ready for next tenants! Breakfast: little variety but okay. Otherwise everything else went beyond my expectations. Complimentary cocktail drinks upon check in and we had fun with karaoke at its bar! A 永安 to watch fireflies, comes with the room booking sounds fun, but it was cancelled last min following unprecedented heavy rain. Room was spectacularly clean and aesthetic. We loved this place very much. Thanks to all the staffs, they are super friendly and warm.

10–12 October 2025 The place itself is nice and has great potential, but the room I stayed in was just bad. On the first night, the air conditioner was blowing hot air — I barely survived the night. The next day, I called maintenance, and someone came to fix it. Unfortunately, a new problem appeared right after that — the air conditioner started leaking. I called maintenance again at 1 PM, and they said they would send someone, but nobody came. I had to call again at 9 PM after returning from the fireflies 永安 because I found water all over the floor. The problem is fixed, said that the aircond hose is clogged. The bathroom drain was clogged as well. Maintenance said they had fixed it (apparently there was rubber stuck inside maybe from the old guest), but it didn’t change anything. The bathroom also had a lot of spiderwebs, and the room, while designed with a Bali-style concept, felt more like an abandoned place. I could clearly hear mice running on the rooftop at night. There was also a 4K TV in the room — but without internet. It was disappointing that the front desk didn’t inform me during check-in that there was no WiFi at the moment because it was “under maintenance.” On the last night, the bathroom water smelled terrible, as if it wasn’t properly treated — possibly due to mold or an issue with the tank. It smells like an aquarium kinda smell. Disgusting. But Sadly, I also noticed the same smell on the glass used during breakfast at the restaurant, so its the water that have a problem there. Overall, my stay experience was bad. The resort itself is nice, but it really needs responsible people to handle maintenance and guest issues properly. Does not worth the money spent.

Good location to relax and healing. Recommed for people who want to go for no crowded place

Serene place. Nearby beach, pretty sunset. There are still construction going on. Room is great, spacious, comfy bed, hot shower. The only downer is, very bad phone reception and zero wifi. Shame they have nice huge smart tv but cannot use. Service wise, very bad. There's an obvious double standard on local vs foreigner. Local are left to figure out where their room is - it's a sizeable resort, u will get exhausted if u have a lot of luggage, no map given too. When asked for direction, the receptionist just said "belakang sana", while white tourist get escorted to their front door.. And since phone connection is bad, u have to walk all the way to reception to ask for help..wifi not working, fridge not working, fan at verandah not working...pretty bad experince we're glad it's only a night stay.

Beautiful place

I like the hotel here very much. You can see the sea and swim. Children like it most.

Good for family

Newly opened hotel. Bed and pillows are fantastic. Nice decoration with wooden furniture. Yummy ala carte lunch of rice with ginger chicken. Buffet breakfast very simple. Pretty beach tents with bean bags. Long walk from room to beach. Part of the hotel is still under renovation. Many mosquitos. Room is hot in the afternoon even with full blast aircon.
