德莎丹克利夫和海灘度假村 (Deshadan Cliff & Beach Resort,Varkala)

Had a good time there at deshadan on May 2025. The rooms were compact but lacked refrigerators and lockers. The restroom was neat and of adequate size. Complimentary breakfast was nice and decent but no space at peak hour. The staffs were friendly and polite.

Had a horrible experience the AC was not working the technician where nowhere around. I won’t complain about the night shift people, but the people who where in the reception by the time I checked in done nothing to fix or find any alternative solution. They didn’t even mentioned anything to the night shift people regarding this issue.

After a busy business year end ,stay at deshadan was truly rejuvenating...it my 5 stay at deshadan and they don't disappoint you in any way..

Room was clean and spacious, pool was clean, no sea view, breakfast was not good, overall a decent stay for the price

Bad breakfast. No proper reception. The hotel states cliff and beach resort. And there is no beach facing here at all. We had to walk outside the hotel few mins to go to a common/public beach. The reception was so untidy. Shockingly there is no reception powder room/rest room.

Nice property and amenities. We enjoyed very much. Pool was clean and neat. . Only the restaurant facility is not available all time. My point of view 15000 is very very high for that property.

Overpriced and over rated ! hotel is located close to the north cliff and beach. The food in the room service is very good. Other than this, there is nothing good here to pay. See details below. Pros - walkable to the cliff and beach - staff helped arrange cabs for other sight seeing and airport. - room service food was good but not the buffet breakfast (see cons) cons - there room was tiny with a small double bed and an extra bed for the child filled the room leaving hardly any space to walk - housekeeping was done in bits and pieces only after asking for each thing like towels, cleaning etc. - pool is not clean - had to ask to clean up. It was never full to the brim and draining, even when ppl were using the pool - breakfast was very very basic. - lot of other issues like bad internet, the shower button not working ridiculous hotel for the price that they charge. This is just a 2 star showing off pictures like 4star. Don't get fooled ! for the price paid it was not value of

Our experience was not at all satisfactory the rooms were dusty and not cleaned properly the moment we switched on the fan, heads of dust fell from the fan on to the bed. We then had to wait outside the room for half an hour for the hotel staff to clean the room and fans and change the bed covers next day, we noticed ants on the bed and again had to call house keeping staff to change the bed covers at night there were no hand towels in the bathroom wifi was also nor working. When we asked the staff, we were told that the no of guests are a lot and hence wifi is not working we had a very unpleasant experience for the price that we paid to stay at this property

Food, location, service all were excellent, except some issues like, waste bin was broken and due to that we were opening the same with hand, and bed sheet was stained.
