We selected this apartment based on its glowing online reviews, but our experience was profoundly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were assigned a ground-floor unit at the back of the building. The moment we stepped inside, we were met with a strong, unpleasant odor. When we raised the issue with the receptionist, she admitted that plumbing issues and a pervasive sewage smell are common problems at the property. The apartment itself was poorly designed and maintained. Proper windows were non-existent—one bedroom had only a small, high window near the ceiling, while the second bedroom’s window was so filthy on the outside that someone had scrawled “PUTA” on it, making it impossible to open without discomfort. Additionally, the walls showed clear signs of humidity damage and the toilet seat was broken, further diminishing the overall appeal. I immediately contacted management to request a different room, but I was told that the property was fully booked, and no alternative solutions were offered. The conditions were simply unacceptable, so we decided to leave and booked a far superior hotel instead. The location was equally underwhelming and misrepresented in the reviews. When we arrived around 7 PM, the area felt unsafe. Suspicious individuals were loitering near the building, and the street reeked of marijuana—hardly a family-friendly environment. Adding to the inconvenience, the check-in time is at 5 PM, which is unusually late and impractical for most travelers. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this accommodation under any circumstances. The property’s issues, combined with the unpleasant surroundings, make it an option best avoided.
