I had a great stay at Shadow Climber House. The building was just renovated so rooms were new, very spacious and clean. Floor-to-ceiling windows with great views, morning sunrise was beautiful. Super comfy beds. The outdoor kitchen was great to cook up meals and hang out. Washer machine available. location wise it’s a short scooter ride into the town center, scooter rental available at the hotel. But the real gem here is Cherry, the hotel operator. She's not just friendly; she's a fellow climber who goes above and beyond—organizing outings, dinners, and even crafting custom chalk bags! The vibe is social and welcoming, attracting climbers from all over. The price is very competitive, very good value. Highly recommended for a fun and active stay!

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Shadow Climber House thanks to the host, Cherry. A climber herself, she is very friendly and hospitable. She helped coordinate with other climbers and came climbing with us too. We had lots of fun and the sites are beautiful! As I was also keen to do some cycling, she also helped find some good bicycles and, last but not least, even cooked a delicious meal for us and some other friends/fellow travellers. The guesthouse itself is easy to find. Being a bit further away from the city center, it is quiet at night with very pretty surroundings, but only 15 minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Room was spacious with a nice view and the bed was surprisingly comfy for China where beds are often on the hard side. The rest of the room was simple but functional. I would happily stay there again!

such an amazing stay! room is very clean and spacious. the owner cherry is super helpful. hotel itself relatively close to downtown, about 15minutes by walk. there is a local market near by, you can buy fresh vegetables and cook yourself in the hotel, there is an open kitchen with all the spices to cook yourself

It’s a very good hotel with a good price! The owner is very friendly and helpful. You also can cook at their kitchen, that’s really nice! It just takes a few minutes from the hotel to west street by e-bike, super convenient! It was a great experience for staying there, highly recommended!

It was a pleasure staying at cherry’s place. Newly furnished room as shown in the picture, clean and spacious. The whole building is pet friendly, and you will be around by two cute doggies and one kitty. I had great fun here surrounded by climbers from all over the world. Good climbing vibe👍, and the host is a good climber too! I really liked it that I was able to design my chalk bags myself and the host made them for me! It’s gonna be one of favs! Would go back again and again next times when I visit.
