因查爾德水療酒店 (Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa)

The staff are excellent, very friendly and ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms in the hotel need updating; I would not choose to stay at the hotel again due to the rooms being quite basic for a 4*, and no safe in the room either. The restaurant area is nice. The bar area could do with an open fire, which would be in keeping with the property and, due to the bar's location can be quite cool. I found the lockers difficult to use; there are no instructions when trying to use them, only in the reception area. I did ask someone to show me, but they were too busy apparently, so I asked another customer to help me. There was no concession for late checkout on New Year's Day; however, upon request, this was granted. You also have to book for breakfast; therefore, on New Year's Day, I had to get up for 9 am to go down to breakfast, which was not ideal. I had paid for the 永安 online when I booked; however, when I came to checkout, I was charged the full amount again and was informed that there was no log that I had already paid, but when we arrived and checked in, it was acknowledged that I had paid, it was a good job that I had the email displaying that I had paid. Upon further investigation by the hotel, it was noted that I had paid. I thought that I had read somewhere that there was an option for a set menu for NYE, but al a carte was still an option however this was not the case. The food was ok. The stay was made better due to the friendliness of the bar and restaurant staff, all credit to them.
