大波斯汀福克斯通酒店 (The Grand Burstin Hotel)

Great location, swift check in, very prompt and efficient. Room and facilities ok - a very warm out hotel but for the price, great value

It's in a perfect location if you are going on to dover as it's only 30 minutes away and on top if the hill there's a lot of fast food to choose from

I booked a pet friendly room (stated free/included) which was clearly stated in capital green letters FREE, included in the price. I also made a special request to advise of x1 small chihuahua. Upon arrival and check in, I completed my check in standing together with my dog and was then impolitely informed (after I’d signed my check in sheet) that I hadn’t included my 2kg chihuahua in the booking and was made to pay and extra £10 then another £50 pre-authorised deposit?!?! I showed the receptionist my booking and informed him that I had indeed made a special request and booking for my chihuahua and it clearly stated the price was included and said free/included. This extra charge was not advised or made clear during the online booking process and was not expected at all. Check in could also be a lot quicker! During the check in experience I witnessed security escorting people off the premises and men shouting at them that they were taking ***** in front of their children, I then went out to my car to get my belongings 10 mins later and police were arriving on site to deal with a separate argument with another lady screaming about ***** also. It wasn’t the nicest of greetings to a seaside hotel :( I wasn’t informed of any car park rules/charges or given any check in information at all. I was given a room card with no advice which floor to go and felt quite unwelcome. Having found my way up the landings, the smell was absolutely awful, then upon entering room 224 I was hit with the terrible stench of dog urine and stains all over the floor. I immediately left the room due to the smell and went back to reception to ask for this room to be checked as it is not suitable to sleep in with the gastly awful smell and although I have a dog, my dog is completely house trained and does not urinate inside, therefore I would never stay in a smelly dirty room to then be blamed just because I have a dog with me. I have stayed in many dog friendly hotels and I have never smelt such vile urine smells - not ever, not anywhere, let alone a hotel! I also stated that the room I’d been given was not as described and totally different to my booking(room I booked has a picture, this was not the room I was given) Seriously the carpet in room 224(and the whole landing) needs replacing without delay. Thankfully reception agreed that the room smelt awful and changed my room to 420, which although doesn’t smell, it isn’t the cleanest of rooms and the bathroom extractor needs a deep clean! There’s dirt/crumbs/debris all around edges of bathroom floor - yuk! There’s a sign on front of the bathroom door advising to make sure it’s shut during use and unfortunately due to a broken door at the bottom, the bathroom door cannot fully shut therefore steam is let out of the room and you risk setting off the fire alarm and the building being evacuated!!

外面的環境很好。但酒店太老了，太破舊了。什麼都沒用。差不多等於國內的80-100元這個級別。價錢確實還行。

怎麼説呢…確實是當地最大的酒店，位置相當不錯就在海邊，但是酒店確實很舊，外牆已經剝落，雖然定了海景房但是玻璃外面很臟（這裏就不具體描述了）所以風景再美也是很礙眼的。適合睡一覺，因為確實位置好，對面就是海邊小集市各種特色商店，海邊的橋邊上有家非常好的餐廳叫Rocksalt，各種特飲雞尾酒🍹超讚海鮮也非常新鮮出品非常好很浪漫的環境風景也很好，極度推薦！

前台表現平淡，不積極，更不友善。我們是一個四人家庭，訂兩個雙人房，結果分在兩個樓層，酒店在英國算是相當大，兩個房間之間要走幾分鐘。告訴酒店有孩子也不給調整。酒店設備舊，外部有些區域裝修，影響停車。室內Wi-Fi居然要付費。樓道里氣味不好👎。但酒店地理位置好

Very good location and view however needs major renewal and work done as it is very dated and no maintenance has been done for ages . Cleaning needed to be improved as the bathroom was dirty

A cheap hotel at a cheap price. Parts of the room were dirty and hadn't recently been cleaned, and the shower leaked some water onto the floor, but other than that it was fine. If you just want a cheap place to sleep for the night then go for it, if you're actually going to Folkestone for a holiday I'd suggest spending a bit more on a nicer place.
