Very old fashioned Dust everywhere Long walks to room Not very inviting

A lovely character building in a peaceful spot. Great to unwind. The pool really helped too. Food was lovey and reasonably priced

Nice quiet place a bit tired , no lifts so a lot of stairs

Had a great weekend here, staff very polite and friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy, with ample supply of tea/coffee/sugars and milks. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was clean and available to use by all residents. Food was lovely and hot and tasty. Would recommend here and will definitely be returning.

When I checked in went to the room there were no toilet roll in toilet TV was broken from side ,

The post code given on the hotel address did not lead us to the Hotel. It was difficult to find as it was inside an estate. The hotel is not close to the road. The sign at the road entrance is not very prominent. When arriving at the hotel, the building looks like a manor of some royalties which was quite impressive. Check in was smooth but there wasn't a lift and we had to haul our heavy luggage up a couple flight of stairs and through narrow corridors. No porters or conceige to help was a bit annoying. The breakfast was standard full english breakfast which was as expected. Lawn areas and many big trees around the hotel does provide a relaxing feel. There is a separate building that houses the pool and gym. This facility was not exclusive for hotel guest and open to people who join their club. Unfortunetely on the day of my stay, there were many people there and so I gave it a miss.

This Hotel is actually a high class bed and breakfast. It is located inside an estate which used to be the home of Royals. The main building was really upclass and there are extensions to the old building to provide more rooms. There are vast green area with many matured trees around the hotel. Provides a good place for a stroll. There is a separate building which houses the swimming pool and the Gym, did not try it as there were too many people because this facility is open to other club members who are not guests at the hotel.
