梅達諾窩酒店 (Medano Nest Hostel)

I had a brilliant time at this hostel and met some lovely people. The place is kept clean, the common room is a great size, and there's space to hang wet things after going in the sea/washing clothes. Lights go off at 11pm so people can sleep if they want. The location is perfect - minutes from the beach and restaurants etc. I felt that some of the staff could have been friendlier and more inclusive but overall would definitely recommend this place to solo travellers.

When I arrived I stood at the reception table for nearly 10 minutes without a member of staff approaching me. I had to ask someone how to check in and they went and found a staff member for me. It felt a bit disorganised and I found some of the staff/volunteers to be cliquey, but there was someone called Max staying at the hostel who organised various hostel activities/sports which gave the place a really nice vibe. The location is excellent, showers were hot and had good pressure (I stayed in another hostel a bit further from town which had barely warm water and poor pressure). The breakfast was great - a decent selection, though the flasks of coffee were cold so warmed mine up in the microwave 😊 Overall I'd definitely stay again.
