Our check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The assistant manager, Beatrice, was unprofessional and rude from the start. Our room was not ready at check-in and we were told it would be delayed due to cleaning, but no timeframe was provided. We ended up waiting over an hour. When we were finally given a room, the one light was not functioning. I requested a room change, which was accommodated only then—despite the fact that I had asked about alternate rooms at check-in and was told none were available. It became clear that other rooms were available. Breakfast was also subpar: the food was dry, lukewarm, and unappetizing, and there was insufficient seating for the guests present. Additionally, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which was not disclosed in advance. Had we known this, we would have chosen a different property altogether. The carpets are stained and there is trash laying around in the lifts. The bedding is creased and based on everything else we observed, we wondered if it was cleaned ahead of our stay. I do want to note that 永安 was very helpful and responsive throughout the booking and worked with us to address the situation. Unfortunately, due to the overall experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Lovely and convenient room. Hot water, coffee and tea are provided at the dining area. The pool is also enjoyable. Great location (close to the downtown area), with only a few minutes’ walk to important business district and sightseeing places.
